10Communication:
Before signing the contract, [Name removed by Sirelo] was prompt to answer any questions. He communicates only by email.
Once I was engaged, things changed: stalled answers, short, terse and sloppy. I had to wait more than 48 hours for an answer I needed urgently (when my things were not arriving as announced).
Logistics:
The driver that was assigned to my load had a mechanical problem along the way, and my things were then stuck somewhere in France for several days. They couldn’t give me an estimate of when the issue would resolved, nor exactly where my things were staying. It was very stressful since this load was all I have left from my life in that country and contained some objects that have a real story to them.
They finally resumed the transport again, but missing their deadline by several days.
On the day scheduled for arrival, despite the fact that I originally had asked another day because I had an appointment that day, and that since they insisted I accepted but to the specific condition that they arrive early morning, and them promising to do so… they arrived so many hours late that my whole plans were irremediably compromised.
The driver was from some eastern country and barely spoke any language at all, except his. He seemed extremely out of touch with modern technology and very poorly aware of basic geography.
I had him on the phone earlier because miraculously they sent me a tracking link when he got close to my city: I could see that instead of taking the most logical route, he was going in a different direction, then took a HUGE detour inland instead of just driving to the city (Lisbon). There was no logical reason for this detour that cost us several hours.
I sent him WhatsApp messages suggesting using Google Maps, I also got him on the phone, and I must admit I sort of lost my temper when I realised they didn’t know what Google maps is at all and basically seemed to not have any navigation tool (my assumption, I can’t confirm that, but…).
The cherry on the cake? When I saw the delivery paper he left, I realised the extent of his ignorance…at “destination” he had litteraly written: *lisabona, Spania*… SPAIN! Yeah…
But all that is nothing compared to the HEARTBREAK of realizing, little by little as months go by:
- “Oh, wait a minute, didn’t I have a whole series of bowls in this hand made tableware service from my Mum who passed away (and that I had reconstituted patiently…)??”
- “Oh but where are the small dessert plates that went with it… And what about the coffee service?”
I never could find a hand painted icon that was the **only object my grand father transmitted me**. Never.
After a year, I now realise it’s a full list of things that never arrived. I gather that’s at least ONE box.
And don’t tell me I should have monitored or count, because it was IMPOSSIBLE: the delivery was MESSY, STRESSFUL, and I was already in the middle of other boxes, so I could not possibly count and make pictures as I was alone with my child trying to cope with all this and carrying the boxes to help since that guy was alone.
If I would have known how bad, messy, disrespectful of property, disorganised, and dismissive of my messages and needs this service is, I would never have falled into the trap of a slightly lower price.
These are your things, parts of your life: DO NOT LEAVE THEM IN THESE HANDS, you risk the worst.Read more
Yes that's correct. They actually LOST all of my personal belongings.
Apart from losing my valuable possessions, I think the issue that is most upsetting is that they did not even apologize. And they ruled out providing any compensation.
They have just said 'we do not know what happened to it' and 'unfortunately things do get lost from time to time'.
An UNBELIEVABLY BAD company to work with.
I have worked with a number of removal companies over the years, I would recommend that anyone looking for a removalist to AVOID USING CLICK MOVES at all costs.
We don't believe that this is a genuine review, because we certainly don't recall a case where a clients items have been lost! or even had a discussion about compensation. please contact us with your real name and we'll certainly look in to your complaint.
Sincerely
The team at ClickMoves
[Name removed by Sirelo] (The CEO) was very nice till we sent him the money, once he got the money he was almost impossible to reach and rude.
Our Experience with ClickMoves:
#Hard to reach after they got the money
#Arrived late to collect our stuff
#A day after they collected our stuff they contacted us saying that the load was too heavy and that they would need to use 2 vans instead of one (which would almost double the initial quote)
#Our stuff (1st van) arrived 2 days after arranged date and the 2nd Van arrived a week later.
#No updates on when delivery would happen (the driver just knocked our door one morning without notice)
#No apologies whatsoever from the company
#Didnt not even contact us to see if everything went well
Conclusion: DO not use those guys
Just terrible
on the bright note, the drivers were very nice

You purchased our economy "Assisted Move" service, which is very popular because it's cheap. But it is a one man service, it doesn't include packing, and it doesn't provide a guaranteed delivery time frame. So reading your review, I think in retrospect, maybe our more expensive "full Relocation" service, might have been the better option for you.
