DBM Express removals were utterly fantastic. They came highly recommended and moved us this summer. Nothing was too much trouble and if I'd known how stress-free they would make everything on moving day, I could have avoided a near mental breakdown! The removal men were absolutely brilliant, everything ran ahead of time and, if anything, I felt guilty for not having to lift a finger to help! Incredible efficiency and such lovely people too.
I cannot recommend DBM Express enough. They have a team of genuinely friendly, helpful understanding people who went out of their way to make our move as seamless and stress-free as possible. Thank you all so very much. :-)

We were very happy with our team. They arrived on time and just got on with the job very efficiently. Even though there were problems with our oversized sofa and a delay of about three hours outside the new property, they were still very courteous, friendly and patient and finished the job. We couldn’t have asked for more and would definitely recommend them to anyone. Well done boys 👍👍

I have used DBM twice now. I went back to them as recently as last week. There are several reasons: cost, efficiency, enthusiasm, reliability, customer service, attitude and speed. I really enjoy emailing their customer service team who respond promptly and in a warm and friendly manner. They are never late - load in minutes and are not phased by tiny, narrow streets! I will use them again. My experience differs from an earlier review - which sounds extremely unfortunate. I have only good things to report. What a great team!

The two removals trucks were due between 12-2pm and arrived on the dot of 12. The team of four Romanian men were polite, friendly, efficient, strong and helpful. During my research I had read a review on the website that mentioned a 'can do' attitude. This was absolutely the case. The team worked quickly and efficiently. I had not managed to get to the contents of my loft to prepare it for the move but the DBM guys got up there and brought it all down - cast iron sewing machine, bookcases, stone sculptures.. it was filthy up there but they just got on with it with no complaint.
The trucks left London late afternoon and were expected in remote West Somerset between 8-10am. They arrived shortly after 8am. The contents were unloaded quickly and efficiently. In particular, the very heavy piano was carried down a flight of eight outdoor steps without touching the ground. We even got a tune from one of the guys!
The men were very careful with my possessions. Things were sensitively handled and positioned. So far, several days later, I have no breakages to report and do not expect to find any. I had packed all of my things myself - mainly in supermarket boxes, which probably made things more difficult for the DBM team. I imagine they would pack belongings very well and would opt for that service without hesitation had my things not been already boxed.
I offered tea and coffee in London and Somerset but the guys consistently refused, preferring instead to crack on with the job in hand. That was very admirable.
One extra point. We had a wardrobe, two sofas, kitchen units and cupboards in the Somerset house that were not ours and which we did not want. The guys consulted the office and after making a payment online all of this furniture was removed quickly and easily by the DBM team. What a relief!
It was a pleasure to deal with DBM. From the charming and polite and efficient office staff to the charming and polite and efficient removal men.
I would use DBM again if I had to move again. But as I hope not to I can only recommend DBM very highly and hope you will use them.Read more

By the very nature of DBM's dishonestly in dealing with my grievances
I am sure there may be a comment below rubbishing my claims.
It appears they have done similar things with other bad reviews.
Perhaps read them and make up your own mind.
I have nothing to gain from this review, I simply wish to warn people
about what they might encounter from the services at DBM.
If DBM wish to contact me, you have my details, we can resolve this
issue and I can amend this review accordingly.
Below is a précis of events and their incompetence.
As a cabinet maker I hired DBM to lift a heavy table I had made for a client into a
basement from the street.
They made assurances that the operation would be conducted as per my
instructions using four men and ropes.
On the day only three men turned up, they used no ropes and broke a very expensive table.
The team would not admit what they had done, accused me of trying to deliver
an already broken table, became aggressive and were asked to leave.
When phoned, [name] (unsure of company role) admitted fault and offered appropriate compensation for repairs to their damage.
Since trying to chase this up I have been lied to, ignored and am now positive after giving
them many chances to rectify the situation that they just do not care.
If this is the kind of service you would like to receive when moving your valuable items
then they are the guys for the job!Read more
