Gentleman & a Van was set up following a very poor experience whilst moving flats in London with one of the market leaders in the home removals industry. It was clear there was a place for a man and van, home removals and office removals company that focused on good old fashioned quality of service geared to modern removal needs.

Incredible service - everyone was so helpful and efficient. Despite the poor team getting stuck in a major traffic jam which delayed their arrival at our new house, they arrived with great energy, and even sent an extra support crew to help speed up the unpacking. I would absolutely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone who wants a brilliant, stress-free moving service.

I had a fantastic experience with Gentleman & A Van! From the moment I reached out, Mark made the booking process incredibly swift and straightforward. He was helpful, responsive, and made sure everything was arranged smoothly and quickly.
On the day of the move, the team arrived right on time and were absolutely brilliant — professional, efficient, and really friendly. They handled everything with care and worked seamlessly together, making what could have been a stressful day totally stress-free.

I couldn't have asked for a better service, Luke and Max were outstanding.
They arrived promptly, worked carefully and efficiently and managed to move a number of large heavy items down 2 flights of stairs (no lift!) without a fuss.
Same service received once at the new property.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Absolute 5 star service! The team were quick, efficient and super friendly. Their communication- either between us and them, or between themselves for the project was clear and concise. Everything they quoted for they delivered on, nothing was too much hassle even with a last minute change of plan when we realised a dresser was too big to go down the stairs! They were careful, and courteous with both the incoming and outgoing property and polite and friendly to all family members at all times! Even unpacking ourselves now- everything is labelled correctly and the boxes were delivered to the right rooms and spaces. A huge recommend from us!

We were very pleased with the way Gentleman & A Van handled our move. Four 'Gentlemen' arrived and introduced themselves on the Friday to do the packing for our move on the Monday. They were cheerful, polite, considerate, dismantled beds, packed everything very carefully and worked extremely hard. Hanging clothes were put in special hanging boxes, which was a tremendous help, and everything was wrapped, protected and clearly labelled. They part-loaded the 'Van' that day, carrying everything with great care, however heavy it was!
On Monday the same team arrived promptly and continued to fill that 'Van', plus another for all our garden furniture, tools and large plants in tubs. After a brief break while we got the keys to our new house, they proceeded to cheerfully unload everything into the correct rooms and garage. What a team!
