The movers themselves were all very polite and appeared helpful, including George on the phone who was managing the move, however I was very disappointed with the service overall, but in particular the Full Packing Service I was charged an extra £750 for - I was unable to complete the packing due to short-notice moving date, work pressures and illness. In addition, when I have tried to contact them to discuss these issues, they have not answered - email/phone/WhatsApp.
Full packing service - things were not packed properly, but mainly thrown into boxes and bags loose including glasses and other breakables. I have opened boxes to find house plants upside down on top of other things or crushed under items.
None of the boxes were marked up as to which room they were for on arrival - I did question this but was told it would be ok. It isn't. I have a house full of random, unmarked boxes in random rooms.
Those I had marked up myself clearly, were not put in the right rooms. I have only just located some of the items I needed immediately. Other examples - Flat pack garden shed in front room. Heavy bathroom items in dining room. TV but no power cable to be found.
Similarly, furniture - delivered to wrong rooms, including washing machine left in the very damp lean-to, rather than near the obvious space for it in the kitchen. Wardrobe in dining room.
Items like my PC monitor which had their specific boxes left right next to them were not used and just transported loose (and then left in the kitchen).
Several empty boxes (or containing just packing material) were transported taking up room, and I was then told on the day that I needed an extra van. I also found some important items left behind underneath discarded packing material e.g. tv box, medication.
The wardrobe they said did not fit up the stairs is an ikea flat-pack one, so I'm confused by that. It had been dismantled, but different parts of it have been left in different locations but none of it upstairs. Nothing at all was reassembled or reinstalled as had been agreed. I have no idea if they have even left me the screws/fixings.
I cannot move any of the furniture on my own so it is making it really difficult to unpack anything, even if I could get to them. I really don't know how I'm going to do it.
I have already found several damaged pieces of furniture (including a broken mirrored bathroom cabinet, wooden table, sideboard, wardrobe) plus other craft-art items. As I said, I have no idea how long it will take me to unpack to inspect all items, but I can see it taking weeks, if not months. There is also a gauge out of the wall by the stairs plus chunks taken out of the bannister at the destination.
I was asked to confirm if there was any damage and if everything was OK before they left, but I was distraught and just said that I couldn't.
On top of all this several items were left behind in the end, including curtains, a large rug, lawnmower.
I felt obliged to pay up as they had been told to wait outside until I did so, but can't say I am happy with the service but they will not communicate with me to discuss. I have held off from leaving any reviews to give them a chance to make amends.
I am thoroughly disappointed. What is a very stressful time ordinarily, has been made so much worse. Shame on you, GMoves.Read more

Updated: just used them again for now the 3rd time!! Highly recommend.

I heard that they outsource to someone in the local area and the one came.to us provided a bad service.
The van was good a big Luton van.

One of the doors and some drawers on the large items (wardrobe) broke, but that was because of how narrow my hallway was and was due to no fault of theirs.
Very happy with the service!!
