They also took a very expensive Lego of my young sons, and threw it into a box smashing it to pieces which my son is distraught about. They actually admitted to doing that on the day which in hindsight is quite surprising seeing as they have denied everything else, as have the company despite me providing photographic proof.
Pleas stay well away from this company, they are truly awful, know nothing about customer service and you will risk your goods being damaged by using them.
A true disgrace of a firm and one you should not touch with a bargepole.Read more

-I have booked a 3.5 ton Luton Van and additional porter (1 driver + 2 men) as they suggested as I have many books and to bring things down from 3rd floor
-When they finally arrived to my flat a guy looked around stuffs at our rooms (all packed in advance and ready to remove) and started to load the stuffs to the Van
-In the middle of job they told me my stuffs will be over weighed so they may get the penalty if they were caught by police. They asked me to sign that I shall pay for the penalty if it happened, I did.
-They did carry it out but again soon after they told me they can not the job so I have to hire another van or big truck.
-They stopped the job and I talked to the office. They asked me to hire another Van and man for additional cost of £750. I refused.
-The guys on the site offered me that they can do the job if I pay extra £500 when they finished the job without being caught by police. Later lowered to £400 when I refused.
-It means that they could do the job as planned but they were trying to rip off by manipulating the situation and threatening no removal today if I don't accept the offer.
-I offered £100 as a bonus if they did the job without paying the penalty but they refused and run away after leaving all stuffs in corridor of every floors. I did not even see their leaving.
-The office man refused to return my deposit as I did not help them to bring the loaded stuffs back to my flat.
-I said that loading and unloading is their job although I have offered to help it to finish asap but it is not my obligation.
-They again to refuse to return deposit by saying that I did not give full details on the removal but I have given full addresses and floors of the both flat. Also I noticed that I have many books but all my stuffs could fit into one Luton Van as I did it same some months ago. (Furthermore I have thrown away many boxes of books as I have experienced a bit hardship last time.) Anyway Skyline actually reconfirmed all my details when they asked me pay a deposit.
-This is a ridiculous excuse and untruthful business attitude that left us a mess. Whether I booked with them a month ago or a day before my moving, if they are in doubt whether they could fulfill the job they should have inspected my stuffs and suggested any other options before asking me pay a deposit and starting the job.Read more

Of course we do appreciate that customers do not want to pay more but that was not our choice. The situation demanded either extra payment for the fine or the additional vehicle. The customer initially seemed to understand the situation we were in but it was only because we did not give him a refund that he has written this unfair negative review. Furthermore, this customer had booked with another company but called us on Wednesday because that company had cancelled the booking and I am guessing they knew this move would be problematic, we should have been s uspicious too.
