We recently used Solaris Relocations for our move from London to New York and the service was exceptional. Your team were a pleasure to work with and kept me informed and updated throughout the duration of the service. Having moved 5 times in 7 years, I can honestly say that moving overseas is never an easy task so I am delighted that everything arrived in good order. A big thank you also to the team in the US who remained extremely patient whilst we went through our boxes. We will have a second shipment in the New Year and will no doubt be in contact

I paid up for a professional and well organised service, only to be met by chaos, waiting and following up on my part. The packing crew were 7 hours late. Solaris didn't update me until I followed up! Packing finished at midnight, and the noise created caused the police to be called. Then a huge number of empty boxes and bubble wrap was stored in my house because the crew did not have an empty enough truck.
Now for the delivery: I have been forever chasing up Solaris's partners in New York. The shipping date keeps getting delayed from Solaris's original estimate, which I had to chase up to get. Now I just discovered my items could take another 2-4 weeks to arrive. I had to chase up even to get an arrival form filled out. This means I am waiting again, 2-4 weeks is close to vague as an estimated date for delivery.
I'm sorry, it is ridiculous to constantly be chasing up to find out dates, times etc. It is ridiculous to have to be kept WAITING. I have yet to assess whether any damage has occurred to my items. Solaris has been unprofessional, and its service has caused me undue stress. You don't want to deal with such hassles when moving - you want to be informed, and updated, that is the professional way - don't bother with them.Read more
