My consignment was collected on the 19th of May, the team that collected our consignment were absolutely amazing, couldn’t fault them whatsoever.
However it is now the 10th of July and our consignment has not left the UK yet bound for New Zealand, extremely disappointed with this as we have bought a house which we take possession of on the 22nd of July.

We moved from London to San Francisco with Solaris and were so happy with the UK side that we left a glowing 5-star review. Unfortunately, we've not had the same experience on the import side.
The problems started on arrival in the US. A sub-contractor Solaris uses over here sent us an invoice for a customs X-ray inspection that never happened, as he later admitted in writing. It took extensive sleuthing to work out that the charge was fraudulent, including going through the cargo tracking records ourselves and calling around to third parties. During that time we had no idea if our belongings were going to be delayed or held by a rogue agent.
When we raised it with Solaris, they apologised but offered nothing more. No explanation of how it happened, no offer of any kind of refund for our time investigating or the stress it caused. Despite the fact that we were sent emails demanding payment of $920 before our goods would be delivered, Solaris still keep saying 'no payment was ever requested'
Goods did arrive safely in the end. But we shouldn't have had to do Solaris's due diligence for them, nor go through this stress. Would recommend avoiding at all costs.Read more

I previously left a review on the 16th of January and since then the help and support offered by Solaris has made me come back with this new review. We recently used Solaris Relocations to move our goods from London to Bahrain and I have nothing but love for this company! From the moment I called to enquire (and the excellent sales service is what made me sign up), to the highly efficient and careful packing, and of course the competitive pricing - every step with Solaris was seamless. There was a hiccup along the way (not with Solaris but with their Middle East partner) and even then Solaris was quick to jump in and respond and help. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and would highly recommend them!
