What makes your company stand out?

Trans-portugal stands out over all others because we only specilise in Portugal and opereta a weekly service to Portugal from the Uk and all work will only be carried out by us and our staff and all major removals will always have a home visit by our surveyor where you will be treated as a family member and any question you have we will always try and have an answer for you to make your removal stress free

What is your insurance policy? How do you deal with damaged items?

we offer all our clients full optional insurance so that clients have the choice for a full cover, but before any items are sent out Trans-portugal will always export pack all the furniture (not blancet wrap) so that we minamise the risk for damage .

What is the best advice you would give to customers?

we have a very good google rating and review from our clients that have used us for there relocation to Portugal and most will always come back requesting other services which we only offer to our clients due to our 5 star work,

TP were amazing in helping us move our belongings to Portugal from the UK. They booked us in last minute and worked hard to accommodate a quick turnaround. They took such care when wrapping our belongings, were extremely diligent with recording all of our items, made sure everything was delivered safely and even helped us organise all the furniture exactly where we wanted it. We would recommend them wholeheartedly!

Their response to my review is nothing short of a masterpiece of deflection and denial. Imagine a company receiving valid criticism and thinking the best response is to accuse the customer of being the problem—truly impressive customer service skills at work here. It seems Transportugal’s policy for negative feedback is simple: blame the customer and, if that doesn’t work, blame someone else. I’m almost in awe of how well they embody the ‘it’s never our fault’ mentality. If you enjoy being gaslit by the companies you pay for services, then by all means, Transportugal is the one for you.

I used TP for my move from London to Portugal. From the beginning they were very responsive and helped organise everything without stress or pressure. Both Catarina’s were amazing. The pick-up driver called half an hour before as promised. My goods arrived safely and quickly (within a week). Thank you team and I know who to use again in the future!

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with a removal company. Initially, they quoted me €830 (excluding VAT) for a job moving my belongings from a city an hour outside Lisbon. However, less than 24 hours before the move, they abruptly raised the price to €1,100, claiming a miscommunication. This sudden hike, especially at €250 per hour for a four-hour job, was completely unreasonable. When I cancelled, they charged a 10% fee on the entire new amount, not the deposit, keeping over €100. This was due to their mistake and last-minute price increase, which is completely unacceptable. A full refund should have been provided.

Amazing & Awesome service
With deep gratitude and appreciation, my husband Manu and me Levina would like to put on record the exceptional service we received from the very first call we made which Clara, Sales Director responded to. We tried all possible ways to move our belongings to Portugal before getting in touch with TP international which we were not aware off. Once we spoke to Clara, she had an answer to every hurdle we faced and made it so easy. The whole team was so joyful and genuinely helpful. They were so careing in handling the boxes and those we were unable to pack, they did it with such reasonable price. They stored our shipment for a tiny fee and delivered the shipment intact to our address in Leiria.
Thank you Clara, Philippa and everyone for such a great and flawless service. Don't know how we would have done it without you. God bless TP International and everyone for their hard work and best ever services. We have now decided to send more boxes with personal items to Portugal very soon.
