An excellent experience from start to finish. Every aspect of our move was professionally handled from the initial spot-on assessment of the number of storage containers needed, to the prompt, courteous and responsive communication from the office, to the removals on the day and delivery of some items to rental. Mike, James and Dale were a great team and treated our goods with care and went out of their way to leave us with the items we needed to the last possible moment. We could not be happier that we chose Johnson’s.

Johnsons were great to deal with. They kept us in the loop all of the time and did their best to be accommodating with move dates, despite us having to change the date several times.
Own the day, the removal crew turned up on time and worked non-stop to get the house clear by lunchtime. Likewise with moving into the new property.
They were very careful with delicate items and added extra wrapping where needed. They did everything they could to make the move as smooth and efficient as possible.
We were very pleased with Johnsons and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Johnsons Home Removals provided us with an amazing service. First, our house move fell through and got delayed - twice (third time lucky they say !!). And Johnsons were fantastic and flexible. Particularly Viv managing the office who was extremely organised and proactive with organising all our arrangements.
When the move week came (in January 2026) we'd opted for the full packing service as well as the move. Adam, Tom and Shaun came for two days - the day before the move and the move day itself. They worked two extremely long and hard days packing us all up, getting us all loaded up, moving us and unloading us again. They were organised, methodical and everything went smoothly (even if it was time consuming given how much stuff we had).
We, unfortunately did not 'get our keys' until much later on the Friday (move day) which meant the guys did not even begin to unload at the new house until about 4.30pm. Adam, Tom and Shaun stayed until gone 8pm (on a Friday night !!) making sure we were all unloaded. We could not have asked for a better service both from 'head office' and 'on the ground.' I would not hesitate in recommending Johnsons Home Removals particularly if you're looking for a full packing and removal service. Thank you all. I suspect we won't require your services again as we are in our 'forever home,' but if we do...you'll be the first company we call.Read more

After being messed around by our buyers Johnson’s were there to assist, changing days at short notice to help. The guys turned up on time, friendly and reassuring for my elderly mother, took great care packing her pictures and china all in good time. They arrived the next day( 200+ miles) nice and early on cracked on again keeping mum entertained. They cleaned up after themselves and never complained. Credit to great staff at what I can only describe asa fantastic firm!

Our experience with Johnsons was excellent from the first contact with the surveyor, who was highly professional and understood our requirements fully.
We did receive another quote which was a little cheaper but the company didn't instill confidence with us.
Every stage of the move was explained fully by Viv, who kept us informed and answered any questions we had promptly.
On the day of the move the van arrived on time and the two men covered all carpets and handrails before working none stop to load all of our belongings and deliver all to our new address.
The whole process was completed by 5.30.
I can thoroughly recommend Johnson's.

Moving day is not fun. Anything thing that makes it easier and less stressful is welcome, and these guys certainly made a huge contribution to making sure it was a smooth process. Support from them in the build up was excellent, especially as we had to reschedule a number of times, nothing seemed to faze them or prove beyond them. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends
