My partner and I used Tj's man and van for a long distance move from Great Yarmouth, it was extremely disappointing! The only positive was that they arrived on time, everything else was poor. The job felt rushed, the staff were unfriendly and gave almost no help. After the van was loaded we were told it was full even though there still looked to be space. Several heavy items were left behind.
We then had to arrange and pay a second removal company to collect what had been left, which meant extra cost, extra time and a lot of unnecessary stress.
We have moved more than 40 times over the years because of military work and have used many different removal firms. Tjs from Great Yarmouth was the worst experience we can remember and out of 40 moves, the only time we have left a bad review for a removal company. We expected the items we had agreed to move to be taken as arranged, That did not happen.
I also noticed that an earlier review describing a similar experience is no longer visible, which is disappointing because honest customer feedback is useful, and it is a reminder that high ratings alone do not always tell the full story when bad ones 'disappear'. My partner also left a poor review and we just noticed that is no longer appearing as well.
Based on our own experience we would NOT use TJ's Man and van again and would strongly advise anyone planning a move to compare other options very carefully.Read more
