I am extremely unhappy, with Wilkin's packing of small valuables, they wrap tiny objects in huge pieces of paper in a big box and as a result I failed to unwrap 5 minature paintings one pair which were 17th century now lost forever also I have sadly just discovered that a cutout of my Uncle and Mother in army uniform from the 2nd War has also gone missing . My suggestion to the company that n the future precious small items should be wrapped in shoe boxes and then added to a big box, it was obviously all too easy not to realise that they weren't part of the packing. We clients aren't used to unwrapping stuff everyday and when you are possibly tired it is easy to make a mistake,, I have had builders in for the last 6 mths and have only recently started to sort out things , Of course this is now too late for insurance so I have lost about £800 ,00 worth of goods and more important the loss of irreplaceable items. I have not had much comeback from the company or help and I am still wa
iting to hear from the packer who packed this particular box, two weeks on.Read more
