I can only speak very highly of Britannia Appleyards, from the first phone call to the move date they were brilliant. Ruby was brilliant during our enquiries, and James was fantastic on moving day.
The day itself could not have gone smoother. The guys arrived nice and early, had everything packed just before lunch and we were good to go. Care was taken with everything using floor covers, sofa covers, mirror covers, tv coverings and mattress protectors. Everything you could think of and more. This made the move feel calm and took the stress out of things. I would highly recommend.

If i could leave more stars i would.
They moved my mums items into storage then delivered them to her new home 3 months later.
The office staff were great and very helpful.
The delivery men on collection and delivery were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble.
They were professional and polite so much so that when they delivered the items to my 77 year old mother I didnt feel i needed to take time off to be there as i knew they would take care of her and just get the job done.
Your company should be proud of all your staff.

I have recently had to put some furniture in store due to water leak and insurance claim. Britannia Appleyards were the appointed contractor and I have to say their service, from booking in site visits to both the collection and then delivery and re-assembly of furniture was first class. All from Appleyards who who came to my house were polite, professional and did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Recently used these guys to move (10thOctober) Laura came to see us and explained the process and what was available, what a lovely young lady and great representative of her company. We were a bit last minute as these things usually are but we booked just over a week in advance. The 3 'J's' Jon James and Jason turned up nice and early and cracked on straight away. We opted to pack our own house up so had lots of boxes and things like beds dismantled ready to go the lads took great care with our belongings without any moaning or issues. Cup of tea later and were were off to the new property not to far away had to wait for the keys while the lads had a well earned break. Back to business and the unload began anything not labelled the lads asked where we wanted it, again nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend and would certainly use them again without question.

I was moved from Anfield, Liverpool to Wigston, Leicestershire on 11 and 12 August 2025. The removals team from Britannia Appleyards were joined by one additional Britannia team member onsite in Liverpool specifically for the purpose of packing up the entire kitchen.
On departure day, the lorry arrived 1/2 hour early and the team texted me accordingly from outside my property. I had arranged to pack all of my belongings myself during the weeks in advance, so we had a prompt start! Overall, the team was professional, observant, courteous and friendly. They were focused and organised and were able to complete the entire removal in roughly five hours!
The following day, the team was in close communication with me and we were able to meet at my new home in Wigston at the same time I received my house keys! Again, the two Appleyards staff members were focused, efficient and not afraid to confirm locations for specific items or boxes as needed. All of the furniture that required disassembly on departure (primarily bed frames) were carefully reassembled on arrival at the new house.
Jack Morris (lead contact via text) and John (driver) were the Appleyards employees who were both swift, efficient and incredibly hard working in facilitating this move. In Liverpool only, they were joined by Zoel who was responsible for packing up my kitchen. It was a pleasure to work with all three and overall they made this relocation a pleasure, if moving home could ever be described as a pleasure!
I’ve included two photos, the first is taken from outside my home of 15 years at Anfield, Liverpool on Day One. The second photo is taken outside my new home in Wigston, Leicestershire on Day Two.
My arrangements were coordinated by Britannia Fleet’s offices in Knowsley, Liverpool.
I am 100 percent pleased with Britannia’s overall service and again, specifically with the team from Britannia Appleyards Rotherham for facilitating my move when the day arrived!Read more

At extremely short notice these guys moved us. Removal men were friendly, courteous and incredibly professional.
They took care with our belongings and had a ‘can do’ attitude to moving large bulky items (managed to get a children’s playhouse over our back garden gate!).
Moving day didn’t go to plan and we didn’t start unloading till 4:30pm. Guys were calm and committed to getting everything unloaded, staying till 7:30pm on a Friday night to get us in.
Couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Thanks Andy, Jon and Cam.
