Threatened with violence, criminal damage and all of our possessions taken away and held ransom!
The worse company I have ever had to encounter. We booked care move as the owner lived on the same road as our previous address. On the day of the move, our house took longer than expected to go through and so the owner sent many abusive texts and calls threading to leave our new house or we had to pay more than quoted. When we arrived at our new property the owner and her henchmen refused to unpack the Lorry’s unless we paid up front. It was very obvious they were going to take the money and unload the boxes anywhere they wanted and not in the correct rooms as agreed (there are many reviews with the same experience). When we refused to pay upfront they left with one lorry full of all of our belongings. As the second lorry was about to leave my wife grabbed a set of keys from the lorry hoping this would stop them but what happened next will shock me forever… three men threatened my wife, to the point where I had to lock her in the house away from them. One man punched the for sale sign, breaking it (see photo below) and another man picked up a huge boulder from my neighbours garden and attempted to throw it through the front window (see photo below). It was only the fact my wife pulled out her phone to record him which stopped it. They left with all our belongings and we had to call the police. As this was classed as a civil matter there was nothing we could do, but the police kindly helped negotiate to get ALL of our belongings back, but we were held ransom;
First we had to pay them for this service, which was an absolute joke!
Then we had to book another removal firm to collect our belongings but they refused to tell us where from and only gave this information to the new firm an hour before collecting. They even threatened the new firm to not reveal the location of where they were storing MY belongings.
When we finally managed to get our belongings back and unpack them, it became apparent that all the boxes were labelled wrong, large items they had unassembled, such as bunk beds, had screws and bolts missing.
This was one of the most traumatic moments I’ve ever experienced, strangers threatening me and my wife with violence and the taking everything we physically own without any idea where to or how to get it back! To put this is in to perspective, this happened 3 years ago and I’m only able to write this review now in fear of the backlash or risk of violence from them, but I continue to hear horror stories about this company so you should know what you are letting yourself in for!Read more

I spoke to Bernadette about a week before we moved and she was great from start to finish, helpful, quick to reply and put me at ease with the whole process. We ended up in a position where we exchanged and completed in the same day which was quite stressful, but she really was great and reassuring about the process and explained the plan for moving day. Her team of men arrived on time had packed up my house in less than two hours and waited for keys to be handed over. They were all really lovely and helpful and when we got the keys everything was loaded and reassembled within a couple of hours. I couldn’t fault care move, from start to finish they made moving day as stress free as possible for us.

These guys were brilliant
Bernadette turned up to quote the removal of all our furniture and reinstate in the rooms in the new house, on the day of moving 2 trucks turned up and 6 guys and I have to say they were all very respectful and worked extremely hard.
There a credit to your company
I wouldn’t hesitate to use the company again

Care Move moved my daughter's furniture today. The two Guys were amazing. Exceptional Customer Service. Very Friendly. Took lots of care to protect all the furniture. Would definitely recommend this company. A very big Thank You ☺️

Excellent service from the beginning, we received our quote immediately after property was viewed.
Communication throughout the process was great, we moved over 3 days & every day we received a call running through the following day.
The actual move, the team were fantastic, turned up on time and worked great as a team, i couldn't believe how quick our house was emptied, no fuss no dramas, the guys were helpful kind and respectful of our furniture and of us.
