Firstly I must praise the crew on our move from Devon to Hampshire. They were everything that the office should have been and wasn't - cheerful, happy, efficient, good at their jobs. The office staff were a disaster zone - adding on extra charges after the contract was agreed - including one for delivering on a later day than had been requested!. We were also joined with another move without advising us, or offering a discount. Staff were slow to respond and rude. I have used Britannia on multiple occasions in the UK, Europe and North America, but not this office before which I was bitterly disappointed with.

Really poor communication from office to removals van staff. Had done a full video survey and had quote including some specific things we wanted including careful wrapping of a valuable painting and special boxes with racks in so our clothes could be hung up. But when they arrived, none of this had been passed on to the removals van staff - so painting was just wrapped in ordinary paper and clothes were thrown in boxes - making them all crumpled and taking ages to sort out.
When van arrived at new house - one of the staff members was angry that he had only been contracted to work up until 5pm (told main office in advance that we would not get keys until 3pm) so unpacking was rushed and all our boxes ended up in the wrong rooms which again took ages to sort out.
Removals staff were also not wearing any PPE or face coverings.
Not impressed! Chaotic, stressful move and would not use company again.
