They are money hungry and don’t care about the person. They lied about contacting the removal company about the broken items and accused me of bribery when I wouldn’t accept their joke of compensation see attached. A bereavement is a horrible thing for any of us at any time, but the timing of your bereavement in relation to your moving schedule no doubt added extra stress for you, for which [Name removed by Sirelo] conveyed our sympathies at the time and I would like to convey them again, that we're sorry for your loss.
As for the remaining detail in your review and version of events, as already discussed in our offline discussions, I would like to highlight the below points for transparency for individuals reading your review.
Your removal was owner packed, so we have no knowledge of pre-existing conditions of your items, nor a say in how you chose to package your goods. Against our professional advice and [Name removed by Sirelo] having advised that such wham plastic boxes are at risk of damage, you chose to use them still.
Given that your contact to us was only 48 hours until we then collected your goods, we can only assume that this is why you op ted for the items to remain in the boxes.
Regarding the size of your removal, this was determined based on pictures you shared with us, however, on arrival it was evident that the full extent of your goods was not made apparent to us.
We did notify transport of the issues, however, as you were our customer and your contract is with TMS, there was nothing that could be done via them.
In regard to compensation, you demanded £1,500 and stated this would prevent you from leaving a review. We did not agree to this demand; hence, I am replying to your 1-star review now.
Unfortunately, we are sorry that you have been unhappy with our service and can now only simply wish you all the best for the future.
