I had to have some items collected and stored at very short notice and it was a stressful time but Brown & Illingworth swung into immediate action. The first team quickly and efficiently packed up what seemed to me to be a huge amount of stuff but they were done in a very short time. The second team returned my stored items today and again were prompt, friendly and efficient, cheerfully placing boxes in the rooms I identified and everything had clearly been carefully stored and was all exactly as it left my home. I'd contacted the company office the day before to advise of traffic restrictions and was calmly reassured that the delivery team would find a way to make it work and they did! Brown & Illingworth staff are outstanding, nothing is a problem and nothing is too much trouble for them. I was made to feel like a valued customer even though my job was relatively small and I can't imagine better service. Brilliant service! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for removals. Brown and Illingworth helped us with our very last minute move in January 2026. They gave us a free no obligation quote which was very competitive. The removal men on the day were extremely efficient and friendly despite us not being as prepared as we would have liked! They were so quick but careful not to damage our belongings. Would use again next time we move (if we ever do!) and recommend to anyone.

I can't recommend Brown & Illingworth highly enough! The lads were so efficient and friendly and instantly put us at ease. Moving day is really overwhelming and stressful and they just made us feel like nothing was a bother. They were really careful with our belongings and our house which was really important to us

Fantastic service, we used their storage and moving services over a 6 month period. Will definitely recommend and use them again. The office staff are very friendly and the men who moved and packed our furniture took care to make sure no damage was caused to property or items to be stored.

They arrived on time, worked very hard and the whole move went very smoothly. Rob, Sean and Scotty were really professional, personable and friendly and had a great sense of humour. It was a very happy day.
They took great care of goods and both properties. I could not fault the service at all and I would definitely use them again. I would also highly recommend friends and family to use them too.
The whole experience was one of relief that they were there doing what was needed and very well.
