We were moving back to the UK from France as my husband’s contract had ended and we wanted to move close to family again. All the Legend Removal staff (sales, operational, drivers) were helpful, efficient, and communicative. They answered any questions we had and made it clear exactly what was needed from us and what to expect. Our items were moved within the time frame they gave us and were in perfect condition when they arrived. The drivers were respectful and efficient on both ends (pick-up/delivery).
The quoted price was by far the cheapest we had so we were sceptical to begin with. After speaking to a sales rep on the phone I was feeling more positive as he answered all my questions and gave a clear rundown of what the quote covered. I then checked the reviews of several companies on several sites (sirelo, trustpilot, Google reviews, etc.) and checked to see which delivery window worked best for us. Legend was the only company able to give us the exact dates we wanted and did it for much cheaper.
We were given notice 48 hours before with the date and a 4 hour window to expect the driver. The delivery driver was later than expected but an email was sent before our window to let us know and check that the time worked for us. The driver also rang an hour before he arrived to give us an estimated time of arrival. It was very quick and with no fuss and it was the same on the other end. They even changed our delivery address on the day for no extra charge as we realised we would not be able to access our storage unit at the time of delivery.
Shop around to get a better idea of what the average quote is and what the average service is. Read between the lines on reviews; after going through the experience I can now see how some negative reviews were unfair and their issues probably arose due to not following all the instructions given to them. Also, give as much detail as possible when asking for quotes. There were no nasty surprises on the day and no hidden fees as we were explicit with everything we were shipping and it gave the company what was needed to give us the quote that worked for us.
