108We used Bournes to move our household items from the UK to Oz. As part of this process we paid £200 extra to ‘create’ up our expensive bluestone outdoor table. This creating was the only additional product we purchased from them. In summary they ‘forgot’ to create said item and when it turned up in Oz wrapped in just paper (not even bubble wrap) it was broken in dozens of pieces…. Bournes response ‘sorry we forgot to create it & we will refund you the £200 and offer you £40 compensation’. This is a £3k table.
I am beyond rage with their morally bankrupt and blaze attitude.
Don’t use them, stay a million miles away from them.
I am sorry to hear about the misunderstanding regarding your move plan for your move back in December 2022. I looked at the move details and it appears the move was completed over 3 days, but I'm sorry if there was some confusion.
As you can see from our other reviews this is not the typical experience of most of our customers. We try to make our move plans as clear as possible by setting them out in our quotations to clarify anything that has been discussed (which occasionally may vary from potential plans discussed during survey once we have calculated final resources). We do confirm once again in the booking confirmation, but I’m sorry to hear this wasn't clear to you on this occasion. Our goal is to make the move experience as smooth as possible and take on board all customer feedback when this hasn’t been the case so thank you for taking the time to share.
