Dreadful experience. Additional charge after additional charge. Ended up paying over $10,000 more than we had already paid upfront to the US moving company. Basically held to ransom in that Eurogroup would not arrange delivery of our belongings until they had received payment for their additional charges.
They also unpacked our belongings from the shipping containers, meaning that the security of our belongings was compromised and ensuring that a lot more handling damage was suffered.
(When our belongings were shipped to the US, the shipping containers were sealed and the seals were cut on delivery while we watched)

Recommendation

Euro Group moved me to Melbourne, Australia, they helped remove the stress that comes with moving, especially when moving to the other side of the world!! From the surveyor [names removed by Sirelo] and the office staff keeping me updated and assisting me with the required documents all went smoothly. My stuff all arrived in one piece and the guys who delivered here were great! Hopefully wont need to use their services again as I've no intention of moving again. However would have no problem recommending! Thank you!!

Recommendation

We moved from the US to the UK, with Eurogroup Movers transporting our household goods from London/UK customs to our home in the Northwest. We did have to wait a few days for a truck to travel our way, since we're off the beaten path. This didn't bother us, because we were not charged for storage. Otherwise our move went very smoothly. Eurogroup Movers emailed us important information and updates throughout the process. We were kept very well-informed. When our moving crew arrived, they were fantastic, patiently unpacking all our things so we could check their condition. Nothing was damaged in any way. Our movers then removed all packing materials. We were extremely pleased and we hope to hire Eurogroup again, since we have a second shipment arriving from the US soon.

Euro group were payed by my international movers to move everything in, unpack and assemble. They did not unpack or assemble. very rushed service. Broke the sofa leg then denied it. very poor communication.

Similar to the previous review left here, Eurogroup lost our expensive Persian Carpet when delivering our shipment at the beginning of May. Since then I have had to chase them multiple times to find out whether they have managed to find it and the last couple of times that I have phoned, I have been told my coordinator is unavailable and then never received a call or email back. Today, I have had a busy tone every time I have tried to call - and I even tried the 0800 number. We haven't even been able to claim the insurance yet as the last that we heard, they were still searching the warehouse for it. This has been very stressful for my husband and me and even though I had originally been hoping for the carpet to be found, at this point I would just like confirmation from them that they've lost it.

My removals were booked 6 weeks prior to collection in order to give eurogroup adequate time (another 6 weeks) to arrange delivery on time. I received confirmation that the shipment would be delivered on the 17th June. On the agreed date the removals failed to arrive and after 4 calls and almost as many hours I was told that due to human error on their part my shipment had not left kenya! I was left with no bedding or kitchen equipment for well over a week my 4 children, my wife and I had to buy sleeping bags and eat takeaway food for the duration. When it finally arrived 2 boxes and a tv were missing and items damaged. I submitted a complaint through the chain I was given by my removals handler which was acknowledged. I have chased up for a response 3 times and they have not even had the courtesy to reply once. I am disgusted that a retiring veteran on a final move home has been treated this way and the ordeal has put me out of pocket to the tune of over 2000 pounds. I intend to follo.. Read more

Horrible still waiting for our personal household goods for delivery. We shipped our things in June of 2017. We were told for weeks, that the Vessel has been delayed to arrive in the UK from the US. When we tracked the vessel with the help of someone that works at a shipping company we found out that the vessel has arrived some time ago and was already on the way back to the US. Than we were told. that our paperwork is being reviewed by customs a private brokerage company? And today we were told that our items are on hold, because the Company in the United States has not paid Euro Group for delivery in Germany. But we PAID IN FULL and have been waiting for over 4 month.

They are holding OUR household goods because Move Mangement has not paid them?? Also charging us for Inspection Customs fees that a private Inspection Broker is conducting??

Absolutely shocking service. My shipment arrived in the UK in March and has still not been forwarded to Munich. I suspect that the documents were never submitted. The staff do not phone back or respond to e-mails. Managers are not available on the phone. When getting through on the phone, staff is rude. On top of everything, 5 months after my shipment arrived in the UK, they demand UK clearing charges. My shipment was never destined for the UK, but for Germany.
